Financial Controller - Creative Agency SME - Central London

Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with a fast growth, multi-award-winning Creative agency based in London.

With this in mind, we are looking for someone who shows enthusiasm, maturity, and someone who will enjoy acting as a central figure in a growing agency. Their turnover is currently around £10mill and they are looking to grow 20% in 2022.

Although you will have a junior assistant in house to assist with some of the more heavy lifting transactional duties, this will be a very broad role so you must be happy to oversee and occasionally play a hand in day to day finance as well as business partnering with the founders.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Provide strategic financial insight at a board level and assist in commercial decisions.
• Manage financial systems, policies and processes for internal financial planning, reporting and analysis
• Work closely with client teams and senior management to prepare financial budgets and forecasts
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis, that are suitably drafted for non-financial personnel to identify trends and future steps
• Prepare month end accounts and ensure all statutory submissions are made accurately and on time
• Provide financial input to monthly/quarterly reporting packs which are provided to clients
• Work with the management team to ensure that key strategic decisions and business strategy are informed by a clear understanding of the financial implications
• Oversee AP/AR processes in conjunction with client teams to assist in generating strong cashflows
• Manage our outsourced payroll provider and ensure that payroll submissions are accurate and in line with budget
• Involvement in ad hoc financial project

Offered Package:

• £65,000 - £80,000
• 1/2 Days in the office
