Financial Compliance Manager | Fast Growth SaaS Scale-Up | London/Remote

Harmonic Finance are delighted to be working with an incredibly fast growth Software as a Service (SaaS) scale-up. They have raised over £15m to date and are now establishing a new function in financial compliance.

The business sits in the B2B space and has offices in the UK, US, and Australia with current headcount of circa 200. They are currently generating roughly £20m ARR and have a 3-year plan to reach the £100m revenue mark, signposting an aggressive growth strategy.

While currently working remotely they are usually based in the bustling city centre. They have an exceptional leadership team and are keen to invest in new talent to further spearhead their aggressive growth strategy.

The role:

Ultimately responsible for all things compliance the Financial Compliance Manager will report to the Financial Controller and ensure that the business complies with external regulatory and legal standards. Working closely with both the Operations and People team you will also ensure the correct implementation and adherence to internal policies.

Responsibilities:

• Full oversight of general financial compliance for all entities.
• General company secretarial work.
• Oversight of the company's Insurance policies.
• The accurate filing of all company house documentation including: Audited Accounts, Share Transfers, Allocations and Confirmations, Director Appointments / Resignations and Bank Guarantees / Debentures.
• Maintaining company statutory books and share register.
• All Employee related security matters.
• Maintenance of investor details and issuing of new share certificates.
• Develop and update a compliance calendar in-line with relevant dates for filings/returns.
• Responsible for all HMRC filings including VAT registration, tax, options, shares.
• Intercompany forms and US tax/other regulatory filings.

What we need to see (Essential):

• 5+ years working in a compliance role with knowledge of both UK and US regulatory standards.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive worker.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
• Incredibly ambitious with a desire to continue to learn.

What we would like to see (Non-Essential):

• Experience in a fast growth scale up or start-up (ideally SaaS).
• Wider Operational exposure as is often the case in start-ups.
• Experience working with Sage Intacct.

Location:

• London (Remote initially and circa 2 days a week moving forward)

Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 + bonus (possible flexibility on basic salary for the right candidate)
