Harmonic are delighted to be recruiting for one of the UK's biggest success stories in the Art industry, who are looking for a Finance Manager.
The Business:
They are a rapidly growing Contemporary Art Gallery based in Central London, who have interests in Art, Ecommerce and Events. The business has a diverse portfolio of ventures all of which are successful in their own right, with their flagship Gallery being the largest generator of revenue. The business take a modern approach to work-life balance with the option for a hybrid working from home setup.
With a Turnover of around £15 million and growing year-on-year, the business is on an exciting growth trajectory, thus making it a fantastic time to join. This presents a great opportunity to join one of the high-growth disruptors in the Art industry and play a pivotal role in their future strategy and success.
The Role:
As the Finance Manager you will be reporting directly into a talented Finance Director, who has a fantastic track record of developing and mentoring colleagues. You will be responsible managing a finance team of two Finance Assistants. There is fantastic progression on offer with a clear pathway to Head of Finance in 12-18 months.
This is a broad position which will include leading on the management accounting, month-end as well as the commercial finance piece. The FP&A work will include forecasting, budgeting and commercial analysis on profitability. As such you will work closely business partnering with the Gallery directors to develop and advise on the commercial & financial strategy.
Duties:
As the Finance Manager, your duties will include but not be limited to
- Driving month-end processes.
- Producing Monthly Management Accounts with insightful analysis.
- Providing informative Management Information.
- Managing and developing a team of two Finance Assistants.
- Leading on the budgeting and forecasting for the business.
- Business Partnering with the Directors to work on the commercial and financial strategy.
- Driving improvements and efficiencies through the business to improve profitability.
- Responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations.
- Any ad-hoc duties supporting the Finance Director.
What we need to see (essential):
- ACCA/CIMA (Part-Qualified or Qualified)
- Good knowledge of XERO
- Prior experience in a fast-moving, creative environment
- Great communication skills
What we'd like to see (bonus):
- Experience within a gallery
- Managerial experience
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000
Bonus: Annual Bonus
