Finance Manager | Innovative Artist Management Business | 6 Month Contract | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing music business who are looking for a Finance Manager on a 6 month contract with the potential to become permanent.

The Business

The business has a roster which is home to some of the world's biggest names in dance and electronic music. They incorporate a full service artist management service, so there are multiple revenue streams for the business, including live shows.

The working environment is very friendly and collaborative, as the Finance Manager you will have the opportunity to business partner with the company Director to help grow the business. The team is very sociable and all share a love for music.

The Role:

As the Finance Manager, you will be the number one in finance and reporting directly into the Directors. You will also be responsible for mentoring a Finance Assistant. This is a broad role which will give you great exposure to all aspects of a diverse music business.

You will be responsible for producing the Management Accounts for the company and overseeing the running of the day-to-day finance function.

The Duties:

• Producing the Management Accounts
• Overseeing the day-to-day finance function
• Take responsibility for tracking royalties and ensuring accurate artist payments
• Work closely on budgeting and forecasting
• Business partner with the Directors to set the commercial and financial strategy
• Manage and develop a junior member of staff

What we need to see (essential):

• Experience in similar role (ideally in the creative industries)
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Passion for music!

What we'd like to see (bonus):

• Xero experience
• Music, Live Entertainment, Events experience ideal

Day Rate: Competitive
