Immediate Start | Finance Manager | Leeds / Hybrid Working

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a fast-growth consumer goods business in their search for a Finance Manager to join their expanding team on a 12 month FTC (fixed term contract).

Reporting directly into an experienced Finance Director, you will have fantastic opportunities to grow and learn with a business who are rapidly expanding as well as managing a team. In this role, you will be fully responsible for the management accounts, prepayments and accruals, budgets and forecasts as well as playing a key role with the Commerical finance. This role would suit a driven individual who is keen to gain insight into a new industry and who likes working in a dynamic environment.

The business culture is creative and inclusive, and this role offers a brilliant opportunity to work in a company turning over c. 70 million and growing year-on-year (YOY growth). The working model is based on a hybrid approach (sometimes known as flexible working) so you can pair 2-3 days working from home (WFH) with the rest spent in their modern offices in the center of Leeds. Their offices are easily accessible by car or train (5 mins walk from major train station)

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for producing and reviewing monthly management accounts

· Partnering with the FD and FC to help shape the commercial direction of the business with a strong focus on the budgets, forecast and analysis piece

· Accruals and prepayments

· Ownership of muti entity accounting / multicurrency

· Analysing P&L and balance sheet

· Full responsibility for budgeting and forecasting

· Review the accounts payable and receivable functions

· Managing payroll and VAT returns

· Managing and mentoring a more junior member of the finance team

· Assisting the FD with any ad hoc duties

Requirements:

· ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified

· Experience within a finance manager role

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· Experience in a product based business - ecommerce, retail, fashion, beauty, cosmetics, food / beverage or consumer goods (electronics etc)

Salary: £55,000 + benefits

Location: Leeds / hybrid working model

Contract: 12 month FTC
