Finance Manager | Hyper-Growth Beverage Business | London | £60-70k

Harmonic Finance are working on an exclusive basis with one of the UK's quickest growing drinks businesses on the hire of a Finance Manager. Only a few years into their journey through their fun and innovative branding have managed to build out a hyper-growth omnichannel business.

Working with an experienced Finance Director, the Finance Manager will oversee the running of the day-to-day finance in a business which has scaled from £20 million turnover in 2020 to £45 million for 2022. The role will oversee the monthly and financial reporting as well as the budgeting and forecasting process.

Based in vibrant North London offices which are easily accessible on the Northern Line or Overground you'll be joining a business not only known for their great products but great culture also. The team are fun and dynamic and balance out working in a fast-growth environment with regular socials and events. Currently they are going into the office on a hybrid basis - 3 days per week.

The Role:

Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for 4 direct reports who form a total finance team of 9 people. Along with turnover, the team size has increased over the past 12 months and the business put finance front and centre to enable them to grow.

  • Management of the month end process including month end close
  • Responsibility for the budget and forecast analysis process. This includes actively partnering with other departments (operations / supply chain / marketing etc) for the balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ownership of the cash flow management
  • Partnering with sales on all matters Stock. This includes stock reviews and stock accounting. Supporting the sales and supply chain teams with stock analysis
  • Manage transactional finance team which includes 2x accounts payable and 2x accounts receivable colleagues
  • Be the main lead and point of contract for the ensuring that robust internal controls are met as well as lead point on the audit
  • Management of the external reporting which includes a piece around compliance, audit delivery, year end and VAT returns.

What our client would like to see:

  • Qualified accountant: ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CA etc
  • Experience within a product based business this can be Food, Beverage, Fashion, Retail, Ecommerce etc
  • Stock control experience
  • Experience in managing a finance team
  • Advanced Excel experience
  • Ability to reference times where you have contributed to best practice or improved systems/processes

What we would like to see:

  • Experience in an SME or fast-growth company
  • Strong technical experience

Salary: 60-70k + discretionary bonus

Work arrangements: Based in North London offices 3 days per week
