Junior Finance Manager | Fast-Growth Art Exhibition Business | London

Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growth Art Membership business with their search for a Junior Finance Manager to join their rapidly growing team out of their London office. They are very much a 'first-of-their-kind' business in the art world, offering exclusive membership for exhibitions and working spaces for art professionals and timely responses to the changing needs of today's global art market. Their areas of specialism range from Antiquities & Old Masters to Modern & Contemporary art where they aim to build a thriving community for the arts, with a reputation for the quality and professionalism of its members.

The Role:

Reporting into the Finance Director, your role as Junior Finance Manager will be integral to the finance function & wider business, where you will be responsible for developing strategies and producing financial reports. You will also be responsible for monitoring the day-today financial operations within the business, including payroll, invoicing, and other transactional duties. The role offers great exposure and scope for personal development, where you will grow into a Senior Finance Manager position, eventually taking on some of the FD's more commercial duties as you get established with the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries, and financial statements
  • Managing accounting practices across the business
  • Tax preparation, auditing, banking, & investments
  • Administration of Business Rates
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior team to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports

What We Need to See (Essential Skills):

  • 1-2 years' experience in a Finance Manager / Senior Management Accounting role or similar
  • Part-Qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA
  • MS Excel proficient
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Good all-rounder, proactive, team player

What We Would Like to See (Bonus Skills):

  • Experience working in Arts / Creative sector

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + study support

Start Date: ASAP (maximum 2 months' notice period)

Location: Central London
