Finance Director - Marketing Agency - Central London

Harmonic are delighted to be working alongside a fast-growth Marketing Agency based in Central London helping with their search for a highly driven and talented Finance Director.

This opportunity would be best suited for either a Senior Financial Controller who is looking to make their first step into Financial Director position, or an experienced Finance Director from an Agency or SME background.

The Company:

With a turnover of £18mil, the business has grown to over 200 employees in 3 international locations in the since they were formed in 2012. They are looking to double in size and establish themselves in two further international locations over the next 3 years, with a view to selling in the next 3-5 years. The FD will play an integral part during this phase of business growth.

The Role:

You will be working closely with the CEO and be responsible for all things finance; from managing the finance team of 4, to overseeing the smooth running of the Management Accounting, FP&A and month end. This role is exceptionally broad as it combines both hands-on and commercial duties. Some of these include:

• Balance sheet and P&L management
• Strategic analysis on budgets and forecasts
• Providing strategic insight to CEO/MD around future growth
• Cashflow forecasting
• Overseeing the annual audit
• Extensive Ad-Hoc projects to support the agency as it grows
• Engaging with suppliers such as senior advisors, auditors, and lawyers
• Be part of the senior management team to help drive commercial strategy and international operations
• Business partner with key budget holders
• Managing junior members of the finance team
• Streamlining finance systems and implementation of new systems within the business

Required Skills:

• Qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Excellent management skills

Desirable Skills:

• Excellent track record of offering commercial insight around future acquisitions
• Agency / SME experience

Start Date: ASAP

Package:

• £100,000 - £130,000
• 20% Bonus
