Finance Director | Independent Brand Design Agency | Central London

Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growth, Independent Strategic Brand Design Agency, supporting with their search for a Finance Director to join their rapidly growing team out of their Central London office. This opportunity would be best suited for either a Senior Financial Controller who is looking to make their first step into a Finance Director position, or an experienced Finance Director from an Agency or SME background

With a revenue growth of 80% in 2 years and a 20-person headcount, they are looking to invest massively in the finance team over the next few years. They cover all bases of brand design including digital, content, innovation, film & packaging and are looking to grow their highly reputable client base. They are looking for candidates with strong commercial ambition to join as FD, hit the ground running and strategically drive the business through this exciting phase of growth.

They are market leaders in terms of the investment in personal wellbeing for their employers, reflected by the work that they produce, their culture, and how they look after their team. They have a fantastic office space in central London so for those who choose to spend more time in the office, there is consistently a buzzing atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic analysis on budgets & forecasts
• Providing strategic insight to MD on future growth
• Balance sheet and P&L management
• Overseeing annual audits
• Extensive Ad-Hoc projects to support agency growth
• Be a part of the senior management team to help drive commercial strategy
• Business partnering with key budget holders
• Streamlining finance systems / implementation of new systems within the business

What We Need to See (Essential Skills):

• Agency experience
• Qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
• Engaging and excellent communication skills
• Sense of humour / positive approach to work and problem solving

What We Would Like to See (Bonus Skills):

• Experience in both group agency and SME
• Understanding of group principles & audit
• Excellent track record of offering commercial insight around future acquisitions

Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 + bonus

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Central London / Hybrid
