Finance Business Partner (Strategic) | UK Leading Healthcare Group | £75,000 - £85,000 + Bonus
Harmonic are very pleased to announce we are working with one of the UK's leading healthcare firms to recruit a highly strategic Finance Business Partner who will work from any of their HQs in London, Manchester, Leeds or Birmingham on a flexible, part-remote basis.
This company have scaled rapidly in the last 5 years and expect revenues to hit a milestone £1 billion annually in the next 5. Alongside huge organic growth, the business has acquired a number of businesses during covid as part of their major growth plans.
Despite being of a "corporate" size, this business operate day to day very much as a dynamic, values driven company with Finance sitting at the centre of all operations.
The Role
Due to expansion, the company are looking to hire a Finance Business Partner who will sit across the various divisions offering key commercial insights and leading on vital projects within the group as well as acting as the bridge between executive finance (& non-finance) members and the rest of the team.
You will:
- Provide monthly performance commentary to the COO and Group Finance Director.
- Work with the Managing Directors to outline strategic options for their businesses. There is a strong theme of working with the leadership team to implement new technology and improve processes to maximise EBITDA.
- Develop a strong understanding of commercial operations and highlight contractual levers, cost drivers or performance metrics linked to client contract KPIs.
- Establish a good working relationship with front and back-office functions across the divisions.
- Take leadership of finance transformation and process improvement projects including leading on any team restructures.
- Liaise with the senior leaders and central finance to ensure month end reporting is accurate.
- Review the businesses variance analysis and highlight discrepancies for investigation.
- Offer a critical evaluation of financial performance and bring to management's attention areas of inefficiency and recommendations for improvements.
- Improve the efficiency and solitude of all financial processes to minimise back-office costs and to accommodate peaks and troughs of the business cycle.
To be considered for this role
What we need to see (essential):
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA with a wealth of experience making commercial decisions
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills with the ability to communicate with "quiet-authority"
- Highly forensic accounting skills and comfortable manipulating large volumes of data
What we'd like to see (desirable):
- Experience of leading team restructures
- Exposure within the NHS/Public Sector
- Experience working in a contract-services led firm

Salary: £75,000-£85,000 + 15-20% bonus
Location: Part Remote. London, Manchester, Leeds or Birmingham, 2-3 days a week in the office with occasional travel to other hubs required
