Finance Business Partner | Hyper-Growth Private Equity Backed Healthcare | up to £70,000 + 15% bonus
The Company
Harmonic are very pleased to announce we are partnered with one of the UK's most exciting PE-backed giants to recruit a highly strategic Finance Business Partner who will work from on a hybrid basis from their London HQ.
This company have scaled rapidly in the last 5 years and expect revenues to hit a milestone £1 billion annually in the next 5 years. Alongside huge organic growth, the business has acquired several businesses during Covid-19 as part of their major growth plans. As a Finance Business Partner you will look after 5 entities (business is 20 in total) worth c. £50 million in turnover where you will deliver on the budgets, planning, analysis and Commerical modelling.
Despite being of a "corporate" size, this business operate day to day very much as a dynamic, values driven company with Finance sitting at the centre of all operations.
The Role
The company are looking to hire a Commercial Finance Business Partner who will offer key commercial insights on the business division - acting as the lead between finance and the Managing Director and other senior leaders of the group.
This hire will also play a key role in overseeing the Billings and Receivables team and will have an eye on improving the quality of work and processes to maximise financial insights on key contract-led work.
You will:
- Provide monthly performance commentary to the Managing Director.
- Work with the senior leaders to outline strategic options for the business.
- Develop a strong understanding of commercial operations and highlight contractual levers, cost drivers or performance metrics linked to client contract KPIs.
- Establish a good working relationship with front and back-office functions across the divisions.
- Lead the annual budgeting process for the division.
- Provide commentary on month end performance.
- Line manage the Finance (AR, Payroll and Billings) team (both direct and indirect) - currently seven people.
- Help with finance transformation and process improvement projects.
- Review the businesses variance analysis and highlight discrepancies for investigation.
- Liaise with the senior leaders and central finance to ensure month end reporting is accurate
- Offer a critical evaluation of financial performance and bring to management's attention areas of inefficiency and recommendations for improvements.
To be considered for this role
What we need to see (essential):
- A highly commercial Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills with the ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment
- Prior experience either managing or working in a transactional finance team (understanding how the AR/Billing team operate is key to offering insight on the function and how processes can be improved).
What we'd like to see (desirable):
- Experience working in a contract services environment
- Can start at short notice
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + bonus
