Finance Business Partner | Renowned Music Business | Contract
Harmonic are delighted to be recruiting for one of the Music Industry's major players based in Central London, who are looking for a Finance Business Partner on a 6 month contract.
The Business
Working from their modern offices, this renowned music company is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their commercial team on a 6 month contract.

The Role:
As the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for working in the commercial team that covers various revenue generators for the business. Some of your main responsibilities will be liaising with senior stakeholders in the international, commercial, sales team, providing them with any financial business support necessary. As well as this, you'll be expected to produce modelling to support the business' strategic objectives, assist with budgeting and forecasting and provide analysis around month-end.
It will be important to have an eye for process improvement and driving efficiency measures as this will be a crucial part of the day-to-day.
The Duties:
- Provide insightful analysis around month-end.
- Liaise with stakeholders across the business unit.
- Business partner the Sales, Commercial and International teams with financial insights.
- Ensuring strong controls are implemented across the business.
- Identify and drive improvements and efficiencies.
- Understand market trends and assist on long-term plans, budgeting & forecasting.
- Produce modelling to support the business' strategic objectives.
- Write commentary for monthly management information sent to the Senior Management Team and Executive Leadership.
What we need to see (essential):
- Part Qualified (Finalist) or Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Experience in FP&A, Finance Analyst or Business Partnering roles
- Proactive and strong relationship builder.
- Ambitious with a desire to continue to learn.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrable experience of process improvement.
What we'd like to see (bonus):
- A love for music and experience within the music industry (knowledge of royalties).
- Strong direct business partnering experience.
Day Rate: £250-325
