The Client

Harmonic Finance are delighted to be working exclusively with one of the fastest growing tech platforms in the UK.

The business has undergone incredible growth following a huge £150m Series C involving some of the most reputable VC funds in the UK, making them one of the UK's newest Tech 'Unicorns', accompanied by the appointment of highly regarded key senior figures, underpinning their 400% revenue growth year on year. Headcount grew 140% last year to 290, aiming to reach 500 by the end of the year.

Headquartered in a fantastic office space in Central London, they're now on the verge of further international expansion as they enter the European market this year. The company is made up of forward-thinking visionaries with a passion for scaling the business further, with new product lines opening soon. Given the new normal, there is of course scope for a hybrid working model.

The Role

As they head into their next phase of growth, they are now looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner, reporting directly to the Head of Finance, to take ownership of building out FP&A and business partnering. The role will involve working closely with department heads across the business and strong stakeholder management skills will be key, while maintaining the company's budget and forecasts.

  • Ultimately responsible for leading on the delivery of the company's budgets and rolling forecasts
  • Responsible for building out the company's financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
  • Lead on providing insights and reporting for board presentations
  • Supporting with the production of the Board Packs
  • Schedule and run recurring forecast meetings with department heads
  • Business Partner with Tech teams, Sales teams, Marketing teams to develop key KPIs
  • Provide modelling support on strategic decision making as the business scales
  • Work with the wider finance function to ensure alignment on financial modelling, reporting and budgeting

What we need to see (Essential):

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Academic background
  • Excited by start-ups and a passion for Tech

What we would like to see (Bonus):

  • Experience in a fast growth scale-up or start-up
  • Tech or Online Marketplace experience
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills
  • Netsuite experience

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 + share options
