Finance Business Insight Analyst (KPI reporting) | Hyper Growth Healthcare Firm | North-East Birmingham | £35,000-£45,000

The Company

Harmonic are delighted to be partnering exclusively with one of the UK's fastest growing healthcare firms to recruit a Finance Business Insight Analyst which is a brand-new role for the organisation.

This company are widely known to be an excellent business to work for, and within Finance, they are known to offer genuine development opportunities to their staff across a non-hierarchal structure. The Finance team is motivated to continuously improve the performance of the function and this role has come to light following such a review. This role will lead the building and collection of KPI data for use in finance & operations reporting.

The Role

In this newly created role - the Finance Business Insight Analyst will collect and analyse meaningful KPI data to help build a narrative to management reporting and influence decision making.

Core duties include:

  • Provide timely, relevant and actionable analysis of performance, for operations and key stakeholders.
  • Developing new MI reporting solutions to support the decision-making processes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business operations, understand and develop the business model using multiple sources of business information.
  • Develop and deliver appropriate models for predictive forecasting.
  • Analyse market data and insights to create recommendations and areas for change.
  • Deliver reporting solutions ranging from Excel through to visualisation tools and reporting platforms which provide accurate and insightful analysis of performance for both internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Enhance and maintain automation of reporting.
  • Assist with process automation using excel macros.

Requirements for this role

To be considered for this role (essential):

  • Have previously worked in a similar role.
  • High level Excel and data analytics experience (Qlik would be great to see)
  • Excellent communication skills and a warm personality.
  • Comfortable travelling into Northeast Birmingham office 1-day-a-week - this will change to 3 days a week when normal working conditions can continue so it is important that you live in the area.

What we'd like to see (strong desirable):

  • Prior experience in the healthcare sector
  • Experience using Qlik (business analytics software)
  • Being comfortable with Macros is very beneficial
  • Can start immediately
