Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively alongside one of the fastest growing music businesses in the search for a Finance Assistant to join their expanding team.
The Business:
With a strong international presence, this extremely dynamic, fast growth company has gone from strength to strength since inception in 2015. Post Covid, the business has continued to scale with demand for their services increasing. With some exciting fundraising plans close to completion, this is an incredible opportunity to be a part of the businesses upwards scaling.
As the client is involved in a variety of sub sectors, working alongside some of the most well known festivals and venues within the music space, this is a fantastic chance to become fully immersed in the industry. The business is also extremely values led, retaining the family feel while the company has scaled. As such, they are keen to add an outward facing personality who loves working in a team. Due to the nature of the organisation, the role offers fantastic exposure to different parts of the business, with room for development and future progression.
The Role:
In a team of strong finance professionals, this role reports into a fantastic Financial Controller who places a high emphasis on mentoring and development. With huge scope for progression and frequent opportunities to experience the different aspects of the business, this hybrid working role is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with a love of being immersed in the creative arts.
With diversity and inclusion at the heart of this values led business, this is a role that will work alongside different departments, and will also offer exposure to financial planning and analysis. There will also be an opportunity to own the AP and AR function, with future mentoring opportunities available to candidates keen to grow and develop.
Duties:
- Importing bank statements to Xero
- Chasing POs
- Uploading purchase invoices
- Monthly VAT returns
- Maintaining / Updating cash flow forecasting sheet
- Posting prepayments and accrual journals
What we need to see (essential):
- AAT / ACCA / ACA / CIMA studier or keen to study
- 1 - 2 years experience in an accounting role
What we need to see (beneficial):
- Bilingual in English and German
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 + study support
