Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively alongside one of the most exciting and fast growth Music Artist Management businesses in London in the search for a Finance Assistant to join their growing team.

Described as a boutique live music agency representing a diverse range of talent, our client specialises in booking live concerts and festivals both domestically and abroad. As such, it is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with a real love of the music industry, keen to forge a career in finance within the space. Based in a collaborative office space in London, the team have retained a tight knit, family feel to the organisation since inception. The Role:

Reporting into a fantastic Finance Manager who is extremely keen for this role to develop in line with the businesses growth, this opportunity will involve a varied mixture of AP and AR responsibilities, while also gaining exposure to more senior level duties further down the line. The position will be mainly office based, with fantastic mentorship and hands on training regularly on offer from the senior leadership team for the successful candidate.

Duties:

  • Coding supplier invoices and answering supplier queries
  • Preparing payments
  • Income reconciliations and chasing debtors
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Monitor staff expenses
  • Prepare sales / commission invoices as requested
  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Assisting with the preparing the end of year returns
  • Ad hoc duties to support senior finance and leadership team

What we need to see (essential):

  • 12 months finance experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in fast paced, exciting environments
  • Good communication skills and enjoys working in a team

What we need to see (bonus):

  • Previous exposure to withholding tax
  • Music industry experience

Salary: £26,000 - £33,000 + study support + industry perks
