Director of Finance | Fast-Growth, PE-Backed Fashion | Fully Remote

The Client:

This brand is redefining the fashion industry with a strong focus on quality, sustainability, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) innovation. With a loyal customer base and a rapidly expanding online presence, this company is scaling quickly and investing in its financial infrastructure to support continued growth. Backed by top-tier investors, they are looking for a strategic finance leader to help optimize performance and drive long-term success.

About the Role:

As the Director of Finance, you'll be a key financial leader, reporting directly to the CFO. You will oversee financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance initiatives, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the financial future of a high-growth, mission-driven company and play a pivotal role in driving profitability and expansion.

The Director of Finance will work cross-functionally with leadership teams across Operations, Sales, and Marketing providing financial insights that support scaling efforts, new product launches, and geographic expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support decision-making on growth strategies, pricing, and profitability.
• Partner with senior leadership to drive financial strategies that optimize costs and maximize revenue.
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and long-term financial planning.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives, including new market expansion and product innovation.
• Improve financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Lead a high-performing finance team, fostering development and collaboration across departments.

What We Need to See (Essential):

• 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with a strong background in FP&A and strategic finance.
• Experience in a high-growth, consumer-facing business (preferably in consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce).
• Proven track record of driving financial strategy and supporting business scaling.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence key business decisions.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

What We'd Love to See (Non-essential):

• Experience in a PE-backed or fast-growth environment.
• Prior work within a consumer products, retail, or direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand.
• MBA or CFA designation is a plus.

Location: Remote

Salary: Up to $250,000 + Bonus + Equity
