Credit Controller | Finance Non-Profit Organisation | London
Harmonic Finance are delighted to be working with a non-profit financial organization to support them in their search for a Credit Controller on a temp-to-perm basis. This role will be outside of IR35, and a 5 day per week engagement.
With 50+ years of experience, our client is one of the largest financial co-operatives in London with a proud history of drawing communities together. Acknowledged for their commitment to financial inclusion, this non-profit are expanding their branch network over the course of 2024, thanks to an impressive grant. With this development, they are excited to streamline the AR process and develop its financial systems, which the successful candidate shall assist in.
Sitting within the AR Team, this role shall enable to successful candidate to develop their credit control skills and gain exposure to the whole of the transactional finance function, with payroll responsibilities woven into the role. Acting as the central contact between the business and its clients, the candidate shall manage and resolve outstanding debts by offering solutions that ensure a mutually positive relationship between the client and business. They shall develop collection strategies and negotiate payment terms across the branches and ensure invoices and data inputs are correct. The new Credit Controller shall also assist in generating AR reports and offer Credit Risk assessments to new and existing customers.
It is a great opportunity to build upon existing AR experience within a company that operates a hard-working and collaborative culture. Due to the B2C nature of the role, successful candidates are expected to be in the office 5 days a week where they will receive mentorship from the Credit Control Manager and be an integral part of the finance function.
Responsibilities:
- Credit Control and confidently chasing aged debt
- Running the collection cycle from day 1 of arrears
- Liaising and negotiating with clients
- Data inputs into finance systems
- Invoice transfers
What we need to see (essential):
- 1-2 years' experience as Credit Controller/AR
- Experience in B2C organisation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic personality and excitement to learn
What we need to see (bonus):
- Experience in non-profit/ finance sector
Salary: £140-£170 Day Rate (Outside IR35)
