The Role:
The Controller will oversee all financial aspects of the company's restaurant operations, including its production brewery. This role is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and FP&A, particularly within the hospitality industry, and will play a key role in driving financial success.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for restaurant operations and the production brewery.
- Oversee financial compliance and internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Implement and manage financial systems, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with leadership to optimize financial performance and operational profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
What we need to see (essential):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller in the restaurant industry.
- Proficiency in Restaurant365.
- 7+ years of combined accounting and finance experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
What we would like to see (non-essential):
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Experience in retail and/or liquor
Location: Greater Philadelphia
Salary: $110,000 - $160,000
