Commercial Finance Manager | TV & Film Production Business | London

Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly scaling TV and Film production business who are looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join the team.

The Company:

This business is a Post-Production and VFX studio that are involved primarily in the TV and Film industry. Having recently opened new studios internationally following a period of high growth, the business has decided to expand their finance team by hiring a Commercial Finance Manager.

In terms of the company itself, it is made up of around 200 employees across 2 offices, but retains a great family feel to the workplace culture. Based in Central London, the company boast modern offices with a dynamic and sociable environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to join at a pivotal moment in their growth journey and have a significant impact on future strategy.

The Role:

As the Commercial Finance Manager, you will report directly into the Finance Director and will work closely with them covering several FP&A duties. In particular, you will be responsible for working closely with production teams to analyse the profitability of projects, as well as producing the monthly management accounts with insightful analysis.

It is a broad commercial position which involves budgeting and forecasting as well as business partnering with producers across the offices.

The Duties:

• Working closely with Production teams to manage and monitor profitability.
• Responsibility for budgeting and forecasting.
• Assessing business processes and driving efficiencies and innovation.
• Providing key analysis around market trends and business performance.
• Producing monthly management accounts with analysis, commentary, and forecasts.
• Business partner with non-financial stakeholders to provide financial support and analysis.
• Ad-hoc projects.

What we need to see (essential):

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong FP&A or commercial finance experience in the TV, Film, or Marketing/Advertising/Creative Agency industries

What we'd like to see (bonus):

• Experience in Post-Production/VFX
• Excellent skills on Excel

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000
