Interim Commercial Finance Manager | Renowned Retail Scaleup | 3-Month Contract

Harmonic are delighted to be working alongside one of the UK's largest and most successful online retail brands in their search for an Interim Commercial Finance Manager. The client, who has been trading for over 20 years, has developed an unmatched reputation for quality and sustainability within their field. Despite rapidly growing into an established brand, they have maintained their values-driven culture, which encourages dynamism and collaboration to achieve results. The role is based in North London and comes with a hybrid working arrangement - with 2 days per week in the office, and 3 from home. They have operations in over 10 nations internationally and have partnered with some of the UK's most renowned retail brands to diversify their service. The role

The Commercial Finance Manager will play a key role in managing a team and achieving core weekly deliverables. You will be managing a team of 7 with 2 Senior Financial Accountants directly reporting to you. Key responsibilities for the role are as follows:

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the production and completion of key deliverables - including balance sheet reviews, P&L production, and the presentation of MI packs.
  • Collaborating with business partners and the commercial finance team to produce accurate financial information for review.
  • Effectively manage your team to accurately produce key deliverables.
  • Ensure your team builds an excellent relationship with business partners so that accurate information is delivered in a timely manner.
  • Supporting the half-year, year-end accounting as well as the audit

Essential qualities

  • Previous experience managing a team of at least 2-3 people.
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or fully qualified
  • Experience working for both hands technically and commercially.
  • Passion for the fashion and retail space
  • Experience in process improvement, automation preferred
  • Excellent communication skills

Location: North London - Hybrid working (2 days in the office)

Pay Rate: £300-£400 per day
