Harmonic are proud to be working on a retained basis with one of the world's most sophisticated B2B SaaS companies in their search for a commercially astute and experienced CFO to lead their finance team.

Having gained global recognition for their high-quality innovative SaaS product, the business is looking to build on this success. With revenue exceeding $65 million, a headcount of over 300 people and an incredible value proposition, this company is delivering sustained exponential growth in the next 12 months.

The Role

In this position, you will be driving the operational and financial success of the company. Working closely with the Founders, Executive team and managing a global team, you will have a huge impact on the way the company is led.

Duties

• Be a key and accountable member of the leadership team and play a role in reporting to the Board
• Work with the CEO and President to deliver effective revenue, CAC, LTV, and margin targets
• Enable the company to make data led decisions throughout the organization, working with sales and BI to drive a metrics led culture
• Be a core part of any future fundraising or other investor focused activity
• Provide board level representation and help manage senior stakeholder and investor relationships (including Private Equity investors)
• Drive the company's financial planning and analysis.
• Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments
• Control and evaluate the organization's fundraising plans and capital structure
• Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations
• Provide leadership and mentoring to the Finance team
• Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
• Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies

What you need:

• Proven experience as Chief Financial Officer or relevant role
• Experience of growing a company from $50 million to $90+ million
• Experience in managing a fast growth, tech-focused organization
• Previous experience in supporting investor funding rounds
• Previous experience in effective exits through IPO or strategic trade sales process
• Developed and implemented scaled business models and business intelligence systems
• Experience of leading or co-leading Finance system procurement and implementation projects.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Ability to strategize and solve problems
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Strong EQ and leadership traits.
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Belief in experimental measurement and investing
• Experience in putting in place Governance and Risk management practices
• In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices

What we'd like to see:

· Experience within a SaaS or Enterprise Software business

· CPA qualification

Salary: $250,000 - $450,000 + Bonus

Location: Massachusetts or New York (Flexible - Hybrid)
