Harmonic Finance are proud to be working on an exclusive basis for one of Europe's leading SaaS start-ups in their search for a Chief Financial Officer.

With organic growth, our client is having a tangible impact on the world, upon enabling companies to achieve Net Zero across the globe. They have a real sense of purpose; the ideal candidate will share their passion for battling climate change and assisting companies in offsetting their carbon footprint.

The role

Working fully remotely with part time travel, you will support the CEO and board with strategic planning towards the next fundraise and developing the financial controls. This role is incredibly broad and hands on, so the right candidate needs to have proven recent experience of technical finance whilst still being incredibly commercial. Key deliverables will include:

• Identifying key SaaS metrics, KPIs and building a dashboard.

• Supporting Founders with finance-focussed strategic input.

• Financial modelling and analysis with insights on guiding the company's growth.

• Investor relations support and Board Pack creation.

BAU finance is outsourced to a third-party company.

What we'd like to see (essential):

· Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)

· SaaS experience

· Experience managing stakeholder relationships.

· Proven ability to strategise company growth.

· Commercially focused with clear communication.

· Fundraising experience.

· Growth into international markets.

· Ambitious and 'understands' the 'chaos' that life in a start-up involves!

What we'd like to see (non-essential):

· Experience working in a rapid-growth SME

· Experience in a clean-tech business

Salary: 120,000 -150,000 Euro

Start date: ASAP
