Chief Finance Officer / Chief Operating Officer| Rapid Growth International SaaS Company| UK

Harmonic Finance are delighted to be working on a retained basis with one of the world's most sophisticated b2b SaaS technology companies in their search for a commercially astute and experienced CFO / COO to lead their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a revolutionary company with an impressive balance sheet on its amazing journey.

Having gained global recognition for their high-quality innovative SaaS product, the business is looking to build on this success. With Revenue exceeding $65 million, a headcount of over 300 people and an incredible value proposition, this company is delivering sustained exponential growth in the next 12 months globally despite the challenging macroeconomic climate.

In this position, you will be driving the operational and financial success of the company. Working closely with the Founders, Executive team and managing a global team, you will have a huge impact on the way the company is led.

The role is based in the UK with a hybrid working approach. Travel not necessary for this role, although you will be supported to visit colleagues in person in the USA if you feel this is helpful to delivering your duties.

Responsibilities

  • Be a key and accountable member of the leadership team and play a role in reporting to the Board
  • Work with the CEO and President to deliver effective revenue, CAC, LTV and margin targets
  • Enable the company to make data led decisions throughout the organisation, working with sales and BI to drive a metrics led culture
  • Be a core part of any future fundraising or other investor focussed activity
  • Provide board level representation and help manage senior stakeholder and investor relationships (including USA Private Equity investors)
  • Drive the company's financial planning and analysis.
  • Perform risk management by analysing the organization's liabilities and investments
  • Control and evaluate the organization's fundraising plans and capital structure
  • Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the Finance team
  • Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Chief Financial Officer, finance officer or relevant role
  • Experience of growing a company from £30 million to million
  • Experience in managing a fast growth, tech-focussed organisation (it is not essential that this is within SaaS or Enterprise Software, although this would be looked upon favourably).
  • Previous experience in supporting investor funding rounds
  • Previous experience in effective exits through IPO or strategic trade sales process
  • Develop and implement scaled business models and business intelligence systems
  • Experience of leading or co-leading Finance system procurement and implementation projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Strong EQ and leadership traits.
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Belief in experimental measurement and investing
  • Experience in putting in place Governance and Risk management practices
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
  • CPA/ACA/ACCA is a strong advantage but CFOs with no accounting qualifications will be considered.

Salary: £180,000 - £250,000

Bonus: Competitive
