Assistant Finance Manager | Fast Growth Events Company | Remote

You will be an integral part of the business, as an Assistant Finance Manager you will be instrumental in delivering financial support to an assigned business division. By working with the business and tracking financial performance, the role will help to improve profitability companywide as well as enhance processes and procedures and provide business case rationale to aide decision making. You will be working remotely with opportunities to attend the London office space when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with key stakeholders in order to influence commercial and operational decision making whilst identifying and mitigating financial risk
  • Partnering with departmental leads to manage these financial risks accordingly and ensure the business is financially capable to capitalise on potential opportunities
  • Delivering proactive financial analysis with summarised findings to support commercial decision making
  • Maintaining the balance sheet to ensure the business understands and is therefore able to manage financial risks
  • Support the wider finance function with other ad hoc responsibilities

What we need to see (essential skills):

  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA part-qualified Accountant. QBE candidates will also be considered.
  • Experience within a fast-paced and multi-site environment
  • Experience producing monthly management accounts and financial analysis to influence decision making
  • A passion for sourcing and manipulating data packs to carry out analysis to a high standard.
  • Strong Communication and presentation skills
  • Strong experience using various different accounting software

Things we would like to see (bonus skills):

  • Previous experience working with non-finance professionals to ensure the production of accurate budgets and forecasts
  • Previous team management experience

Salary : £35,000- £40,000 + benefits

Location: London with a hybrid working model (mainly remote working).

Start Date: ASAP.
