Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with one of the UK's fastest growing healthcare businesses to recruit an Assistant Finance Business Partner.
This company have scaled rapidly in the last 5 years and expect revenues to hit a milestone £1 billion annually in the next 5. Alongside huge organic growth, the business has acquired several businesses during covid as part of their major growth plans.
Despite being of a "corporate" size, this business operate day to day very much as a dynamic, values driven company with Finance sitting at the centre of all operations.
This is a brand-new role that will support the Senior Finance Business Partner by business partnering with key internal stakeholders across several companies within the group and by providing key financial analysis of the management accounts.
This role is ideal for an ambitious professional who is confident, has great communication skills and is looking to work in a business partnering role. The Role
In this role, you will act as "Number 2" to the Senior Finance Business Partner and business partner into the group's various divisions providing financial information, analysis and advice, in order to influence strategic decisions.
Core duties include:
- Provide analysis and commentary to the senior leadership team to support the management accounts and other performance metrics
- Establish effective lines of communication with business heads (strong stakeholder management)
- Business partner with the Sales and Operations teams, some of whom, may not be finance literate. Additionally, act as a problem solver for these teams.
- Work with division heads to help them make formulated business decisions
- Build a strong understanding of how the business generates revenue and provide insight into areas of inefficiency that could be hindering financial performance
- Support the Senior Finance Business Partner with big projects which will include investigating process improvement and transformation work
To be considered for this role (essential):
- Have previously worked in Finance within a medium-large business
- Prior experience of supporting/owning the management accounts process (so that you have a good base line knowledge of how to investigate variances and provide insight)
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior stakeholder management experience
- 2 month's notice period max
What we'd love to see (desirable):
- Actively studying or looking to complete ACCA/ACA or CIMA
- Prior experience in a large healthcare or professional services business
- Prior business partnering experience
