The Client

Harmonic are delighted to be recruiting for an innovative and dynamic Music business, who are looking for a Assistant Accountant to join the team. The business is a full-service music company who are involved in Artist Management, Recorded Music and Publishing. This is a new role that has come about through the continued expansion of the company.

The offices are based in a trendy area of Central London. With around 30 employees, there is a real family feel to the working environment. This would be a great opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to gain dynamic accounting experience while working for a well-respected name in the music industry.

The Role

This is a hybrid role with 3-days in the office. Reporting directly into a talented Financial Controller, as the Assistant Accountant you would oversee payments and purchase legers, as well as daily bank reconciliation. As well as core transactional duties, you will be given broad exposure to Management Accounts and Cash Flow forecasts - providing you with valuable exposure.

Duties

• Assist with management accounting responsibilities
• Perform reconciliations of accounts
• Updating and monitoring bank reconciliation
• Conduct weekly payment runs
• Prepare accounts for end of year audit
• Contribute to and assist with ad hoc finance projects

What we need to see (essential):

• 2-5 years experience working in accounting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

What we like to see (bonus):

• Previous experience within the Music or Entertainment industries
• Proficiency in NetSuite or Oracle

Salary: £28,000-£35,000
