The Role:
As an Accounts Receivable Assistant, you will report directly to the Management Accountant, benefiting from a nurturing environment that supports your professional growth and development. The ideal candidate will have started or is studying AAT / ACCA or CIMA and looking for an environment where they can build out their skillset from a transactional level.

Responsibilities:
- End-to-end management of the Account Receivables function including customer accounts
- Debit/credit notes to be processed and being able to challenge any potential payment issues or concerns in a professional manner.
- Chase for payments and look to reduce any debtors
- Reconciliation of accounts receivables
- Prepare and present weekly reports on debtor reconciliations
- Weekly Reconciliation of invoices within the ERP system
- To review the existing accounts receivables process and put in place improvements and controls where necessary
What our client is looking for:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous exposure to Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger
- Desire to pursue professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or ACA (ICAEW), or evidence of being in the early stages of a finance qualification.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Genuine desire to learn and progress rapidly
What we would like to see (non-essential):
- Experience working with product-based businesses, preferably in the food, drink, fashion, retail, e-commerce, cosmetics, or fashion sectors.
- Desire to work as part of a small team and learn to learn
- Passion for the SME/scale-up/startup space.
