Accounts Receivable Assistant | Fast Growth Food | West London | 18 month FTC

The Client

Harmonic are proud to be working with a fast-growth food business on the hire of an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join the team on an 18 month FTC.

Working alongside a Financial Accountant you will join a business who have not only enjoyed fantastic commercial success over the last couple of years but who are also incredibly well reviewed and regarded in the F&B (food and beverage) industry having won multiple awards.

Based in the office 3 days of the week the role will over see the Accounts Receivable duties within the business. Our client who are very much lead by their values and collaborative culture will also be looking to upskill this position through offering a study support package so there is a great line of progression in this role and also the chance to be part of a supportive team.

The business culture is very inclusive, our client is very proud of their products which are stocked in all the major distributors like Sainsburys, Tesco etc and are a household name. As well as a good social scene and events they host outside of works there are also some brilliant food related perks to the role so would really suit candidates who have a passion for food and cooking.

The Role

• End to end management of the Account Receivables function including customer accounts
• debit/credit notes to be processed and being able to challenge on any potential payment issues or concerns in a professional manor
• Chase for payments and look to reduce any debtors
• Reconciliation of accounts receivables
• Prepare and present weekly reports on debtor reconciliations
• Weekly Reconciliation of invoices within ERP system
• To review the existing accounts receivables process and put in place improvements and controls where necessary

Required Experience:

• Excellent communicator
• Desire to be an integral part of a dynamic business that is growing quickly
• 2-5 years in an Accounts Receivable position
• Experience in a stock-based business

What we would like to see:

• Grocery or food or retail experience would be advantageous
• Experience with Syspro
