Accounts Receivable Assistant | Fast-Growth Construction Business | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a well-established construction business in their search for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join the team. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to develop new skills and progress whilst having fantastic guidance from an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager and a Financial Controller.

You will be responsible for all elements of accounts receivable as well as working closely with other members of the finance team. The business provides great career progression opportunities to become more involved in the wider finance function. This role would suit a confident and positive individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Despite massive growth in recent years, the business has maintained a strong non-corporate company culture which encourages collaboration. With various socials throughout the year (in more normal times), you will be part of a close-knit and sociable team.

The team are working partially from home at present, but this will be an office-based role post-covid.

Responsibilities:

• Producing invoices
• Processing and allocating payments then updating the finance system accordingly
• Maintaining and reconciling the accounts receivable ledger
• Communicating with clients to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies
• Producing accounts receivable reports for the senior management team
• Working closely with the Finance Manager to assist with any ad hoc duties

Requirements:

• 6-12 months experience in an accounts receivable role
• Accountancy and Finance degree
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational skills

Salary: £21,000- £23,000 + benefits

Start date: ASAP
