Accounts Payable Assistant | Fast-Growth Construction Business | London

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a well-established interior design/ construction business in their search for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join the team. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to develop new skills and progress whilst having fantastic guidance from an experienced AP & AR Manager.

You will be responsible for all elements of accounts payable as well as working closely with other members of the finance team. The business provides great career progression opportunities to become more involved in the wider finance function. This role would suit a confident and positive individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This role is majority office-based.

Responsibilities:

• Processing invoices
• Responsible for the daily payment runs including processing payments and updating the finance system accordingly
• Communicating with clients on payment of invoices
• Identify and resolve any discrepancies
• Producing accounts payable reports for the senior management team
• Liaising with Project Managers on invoices
• Working closely with the Finance Manager to assist with any ad hoc duties

Requirements:

• 1-2 years experience in an accounts payable role
• Accountancy and Finance degree
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational skills

Salary: £28,000- £30,000+ study support

Start date: ASAP
