Harmonic is delighted to be working exclusively with one of London's most iconic Artist Management SME's as they recruit an AP Assistant to join their team.
The Client
Representing some of the biggest names in UK entertainment, this business discovers and manages your favourite household names. Their award-winning arts have taken the stage at the BAFTAs as well as other, major industry events. Gracing your screens or local arenas on tour, you're sure to have come across their amazing clients. The business provides full-services management and tour support for their artists, and thanks to the growth of the Live Entertainment Industry post-covid, are rapidly growing their team.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Finance Director and working in a talented, small team of 5, this AP Assistant will have full ownership of the AP function of the business. Core responsibilities include managing and looking after the Purchase Ledger, as well as processing invoices and staff expenses, liaising with clients and creatives on accounting measures, and supporting the Finance Director with ad hoc tasks. As the business continues to grow and take on more clients and artists, this AP Assistant will be a key member of the team as they continue to expand. There are opportunities to grow and make this role your own over time, providing you with the flexibility to progress in line with the company's growth.
Based in a cool, trendy area of London, this business boasts an exciting and engaging company culture, prioritising each team member's voice. Thanks to the great, valuable culture they have worked to promote, they are expecting their new team member to join them in the office 5 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Processing supplier invoices
- Managing staff expenses
- Monitor cashflow and budget
- Calculating VAT on payments
- Reconciling purchase and sales ledger
- Maintaining invoice coding and making payments on Sage accounting software
- Managing the accounting inbox for the business, resolving queries
- Liase with clients on accounting matters
- Ad hoc tasks to support the Finance Director
we need to see (essential):
- At least 3 years of accounts payable experience
- Previous experience using Sage
- A passion for the Creative Industries (TV/Film/Media/Entertainment/Marketing/PR)!
What we'd like to see (bonus):
- Previous experience in the Creative Industries
Salary: £30,000-£35,000
Location: Central London
