Harmonic Finance is proud to be working with a very exciting zero-waste New York bakery chain. This company is looking for an accounting manager to add to the finance team.

This dynamic bakery operates in New York with 5 locations in prime New York spots. Dedicated to producing handmade breads and cakes in a traditional manner, this bakery takes pride in its products and has most recently been recognized in Forbes magazine after winning the 2022 Best Baguette in New York award. Also known for its chocolate babka, the company uses traditional methods to create delicious treats and is a staple to the New York bakery scene.

This company prides itself on being a well-established small business with its employees being the center of its success. Led by the CEO and owner, you will be joining this well-built team who are hiring an accounting manager to bring the accounting in house. The company strives on being non-corporate and having a friendly and hardworking atmosphere in the office.

The Role

The accounting manager will work very closely with the CEO to help with day-to-day accounting, oversee financial processes to completion, and collaborate with all departments as a leader of the finance function.

Duties

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable/accounts receivable, period end closing and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with CEO and owner to oversee financial processes.
• Function as the liaison between clients, vendors, and breads bakery.
• Ensure all adherence to local, state, and federal requirements.
• Oversee all systems of accounting policies and internal functions.
• Regular conversations with the VC network.
• Track and develop the FP&A functions and the accounting teams.
• Assist in P&L reports, monitor financial performance on both a weekly and monthly manner.

What we need to see:

• Food & Beverage experience.
• Excellent communicator.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Suite.
• Bachelors/master's in accounting/Finance

Location: New York City, New York

Salary: $105,000 - $120,000
