Accounting Manager | Restaurant SAAS | Remote

Harmonic are proud to be working with a fast-growth SAAS Restaurant group that puts technology at the forefront of its business. This East-Coast company are looking for an Accounting Manager to lead their accounting team.

Having both a passion for technology and the restaurant business, this company works with some of the best upcoming food and beverage startups in the USA to integrate internally the best accounting functions and processes.

The technologies that this company uses are helping to modernize startups accounting and inventory managements. They have an impressive list of clients that include, DigInn, ShellShack, Sticky's, PLNT burger & NAYA with plans to continue to scale with well-known brands across the EastCoast.

This role is perfect for someone that is passionate about the restaurant industry, likes to problem solve, create new strategies, and takes an interest in supporting growing businesses. The Role

This position will be an integral part of the finance team and report directly to the CFO. You will have the opportunity to manage accounting for multiple restaurant clients and become a trusted advisor to them on how to improve their internal processes with the use of technology.

This is a fully remote position that will report jointly to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Strategic Officer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the month./quarterly closing process and preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Review and ensure the accuracy of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Train, develop and lead the finance and accounting team
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with external financial reporting in accordance with USGAAP
• Partner with the leadership team to provide financial insights, assess business performance,
• Continually look for ways to improve the businesses and internal processes
• Partner with the restaurants to add value and have an impact on their business

What you need:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar
• 5+ years accounting
• 3+ years accounting in restaurant industry
• Previous Restaurant 365 experience

What we'd like to see

• Experience with multi-unit accounting
• Previous experience in client facing role.
• Experience leading a team.

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000
