    Harmonic are delighted to be recruiting for one of the most renowned Record Labels, known for their ground-breaking work in the Independent music sector. The business are looking for a Finance Manager to join on a 4 month Fixed-Term contract. You will be reporting directly into the Finance Director and will take ownership for the Recorded Music side of the company.

    The business has a Turnover of around £30 million, and have over 70 people based in the UK. You will be working from their modern offices in Central London, alongside a team that enjoys socialising with each other. The working environment is fun and dynamic, you'll be working with people who are incredibly passionate about music. Initially this is for a 4 month period, but there is potential for the position to go permanent.

    The Role:

    As the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the Recorded music side of the business. It is a broad position which provides the opportunity to get involved with the commercial side of the business, whilst also controlling the financial accounting.

    Duties:

    You will be responsible for:

    * Preparing Year-End accounts
    * Providing commercial analysis to increase profitability
    * Managing Artist payments and royalty costs
    * Work closely with departments to improve processes and make efficiencies
    * Intercompany reconciliations between the UK and wider Group
    * Ad hoc tasks assisting the Finance Director on reporting and analysis

    What we need to see (essential):

    * ACCA/CIMA/ACA Finalist, Qualified or Part-qualified
    * Previous work in the Music, TV or Film industry
    * Knowledge and experience with Royalties & Distribution
    * A passion for music!

    What we'd like to see (bonus):

    * Music industry experience is highly desirable

    Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

    Start Date: ASAP
