    Harmonic Finance are proud to be working on an exclusive, retained basis with one of the United Kingdom's leading luxury interior product brands. Designed and manufactured in the UK, the client supply their products to some of the most prominent Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) individuals across the globe.

    The HQ for the successful candidate will be Chelsea. But if travel to Dubai (where the client have an established office location), Monaco, Mumbai and the USA is your thing, then this is the role for you!

    The Role
    The Company is now looking to hire an International Finance Director or Group Financial Controller to improve the quality of its financial controls and reporting and to oversee the company's international development. You will be hands-on, highly commercial and operational as well as experienced in developing a financial control system, reporting and monitoring procedures. It is a role for an ambitious person with an international mind-set, who can pro-actively help develop the company's strategic growth ambitions. The role reports directly to the CEO and will manage a small international team of finance administrators and manage the relationships with key suppliers (e.g. lawyers, auditors, tax advisors).

    What we need to see (Essential):
    You will have an ACA, ACCA, CPA,CIMA or equivalent international qualification and at least five years PQE. The job holder must be able to demonstrate some level of profiency in ERP, calculation and query reporting software. Examples include MS-Excel, PowerPoint, SQL queries, MS-Access, SAP-B1 and QuickBooks. Additional software skills such as CRM are desirable.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Manage all financial accounting activities
    * Manage a team of financial data administrators
    * Supervise the daily financial operations, including AP, AR, invoicing, expenses, payroll and reconcilliations
    * Analysis of Accounts Receivables and Payables
    * Supervise the preparation and submitting of local VAT and EU VAT returns
    * Implement financial controls including authorisation levels, statutory compliance, tax and audit requirments
    * Produce and analyse detailed monthly and quarterly management accounts for the Company Directors
    * Monitor and analyse the monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash flow versus the budget and previous years
    * Monitor exchange rates and recommend policy for the company's GBP, EUR and USD accounts
    * Manage the payroll process, including submitting the PAYE process and overseeing the payments of overtime and bonuses
    * Produce monthly cost and budget reports for departmental managers
    * Define and build an operational reporting system to provide daily business intelligence to analyse profitability by product / service and analyse stakeholders / routes to market
    * Define, implement and continuously improve financial processes and procedures, complementing the company's quality management system (ISO-9001:2015)
    * Participate in the monthly management team and create input for the annual strategy, setting SMART objectives
    * Define and monitor financial key performance indicators (KPI's)
    * Co-operate with department heads to continuously improve through cost savings and finding process efficiencies
    * Manage the company's insurance brokers, control the company's insurance costs effectively and in line with our strategy
    * Manage the company's banking relationships
    * Manage the relationships with key suppliers e.g. lawyers, auditors, tax advisors
    * Monitor exchange rate fluctuations and recommend policy for the company's GBP, EUR and USD account exposures
    * Monitor and analyse the rent effectiveness of the company's premises
    * Supervise and maintain the fixed asset register
    * Supervise the year-end accounts and annual stock-take processes
    * Pro-actively co-operate and liaise with our (inter)national business partners, accountants, colleagues, clients and respond in a timely manner to all queries
    * Financial analysis and due diligence for Merger & Acquisition opportunities

    Day rate: £400-425
