    We are delighted to be working exclusively with an innovative, hyper growth Electric Vehicle (EV) scale-up business looking to revolutionise the way in which robotics and AI are harnessed to deliver Electric Vehicles at the forefront of the shift towards sustainable transport solutions.

    The company has recently opened a number of new global sites with exciting international expansion planned for the US market and a host of 'developing nations' and have secured a number of significant contracts with customers.

    Having recently relocated to a new modern office space with the added benefit of flexible working, the client is looking for an ambitious individual who is driven and excited by technology, electric vehicles, sustainability and ultimately being a part of an incredibly exciting scale-up phase.

They are growing rapidly with headcount set to double this year and are hiring a Payroll Manager to support the continued expansion. They are keen to add someone to the company who is fun, hardworking and wants to progress their career quickly.



    The Role

    The Payroll Manager will take responsibility for running the day-to-day payroll function and will lead the integration of the HR system with Moorepay. This role is well suited to someone who can adapt easily is also interested in driving change. This role with work closely with the outsourced payroll function, the HR team and various other departments within the business.

    Responsibilities:

    * Manage the day-to-day payroll function improving the processes where needed.
    * Be the first point of contact in regards to benefits, payroll or compensation queries.
    * Partner with HR to help update the benefit packages globally.
    * Lead the integration of Bamboo with the payroll systems used.
    * Streamline the process in which data is collected and handled.
    * Resolve any payroll discrepancies.
    * Support department heads to ensure all benefits are equal and to help analyse ways to motivate employees.



    Required Experience:

    * Experience in Manufacturing, Production or Supply Chain centric businesses
    * Excited about working somewhere which is changing every day
    * Desire to work in a fast-growth company
    * Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
    * Passionate about the EV and Start-Up space in general

    Bonus Experience:

    * Prior start-up experience
    * Prior experience running a payroll function.
    * Previously worked in the Automotive sector
    * CIPP Qualified
    * Experience using Moorepay



    Benefits

    * £45,000 - £50,000 + bonus
    * The business prides themselves on delivery and impact - therefore this is not a typical 9 to 5 role. They encourage flexibility
    * Initially the role will be remote but post Covid requires 3 days a week in the office
