    The Company



    Harmonic are excited to be partnering with one of the fastest growing Medical Service Providers in the UK in their search for a Management Accountant. They have invested heavily new technology which is driving major client acquisition in both the public and private sectors. Having trebled turnover to over £300m in the last 5 years and invested in state-of-the-art new facilities and offices they are set for continued expansion.



    Their services have been integral to the UK's Covid response which has seen them secure several major contracts and offer access to facilities during the height of the pandemic. They will continue to be influential from both a scientific and thought leadership perspective as we move through the pandemic.



    In terms of culture- everyone who works here is passionate about their work regardless of what department they work in. The team often meets for a drink outside of work and socials are organised regularly (albeit from Zoom at the moment!).

    The Role



    The Management Accountant will form part of the Group team leading the production of Management Accounts, P&L analysis, and management of the Balance Sheet for circa 8 entities with a particular focus on accounting for, analysing and presenting Property numbers (leases, property services, facilities management, etc). This is a great time to be joining the company as they have recently won 3 major flagship projects and are keen to make major process improvements.



    Please note this role will be remote but in the mid-term is based in Central London a couple of days a week.



    The Duties:



    * Production and analysis for Monthly P&L accounts for 8 entities
    * Ensure accurate recording and oversight of prepayments and accruals
    * Oversee quarterly reconciliation process and identify intercompany recharges
    * Produce and ensure accuracy of monthly Balance Sheet reconcilliations
    * Business Partner with multiple stakeholders across the business to understand P&L movements and variance analysis vs budget
    * Support the wider Group Finance team with the production Board Reporting
    * Provide analysis and commentary of divisional results
    * Ensure there is robust cost control
    * Support the streamlining and improvement of processes
    * Support with Year-End financial statement production and annual tax returns
    * Support the preparation of VAT returns





    Essential skills:



    * Finalist or Newly Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
    * Experience producing multi company Management Accounts
    * Attention to detail
    * Proactive and able to learn quickly and hit the ground running
    * Excellent Communication skills and ability to build relationships with non-finance stakeholders
    * Experience analysing P&L and producing insightful analysis





    Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on qualifications) + bonus + benefits package



    Up to £27,000 (Dependent on experience) + study support + excellent benefits package



    Start date: ASAP (Ideally immediately available or 1 month notice)
