    The Company:



    We are excited to be working with an incredibly exciting PE-backed renewable energy scale-up. After recently raising over £150m of equity and another £300m of debt they are looking to rapidly deploy this capital into international markets to further promote growth.



    The business comprises an extremely ambitious and high calibre leadership team that has grown the business aggressively through M&A. They are pioneering renewable technology infrastructure all over the UK and are now looking to move into international markets.



    Based in amazing offices in the heart of London, this exciting business is paving the way to net zero for the UK and other international territories. This is a great opportunity to be part of this expansion at a rapidly scaling business and to take the business through their next phase of growth.



    The Role:



    Working closely with the Finance Manager and Head of Finance, the Finance Assistant will be tasked with the day to day running of the company's transactional finance. This is an amazing opportunity for a young, ambitious individual to kick-start their career and progress rapidly at one of the most exciting and fast growing businesses in Europe.



    Duties:



    * Running the day to day accounting software for AR and AP.
    * Liaising with stakeholders to understand costs and making sure payments are ready to process.
    * Day to day bookkeeping of foreign SPVs and posting of FX adjustments.
    * Intercompany reconciliations and journal posting.
    * Balance sheet reconciliations.
    * Updating the fixed asset register.
    * Accruals and prepayments.
    * Bank reconciliations.
    * Maintaining PO tracker and company insurance policies.
    * Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that processes are being adhered to and invoices are being received.
    * Ad-hoc requirements from the finance team and wider company stakeholders.



    What we need to see (essential):



    * Strong academic background with 2.1 or above from a top university and good A levels.
    * 0-2 years of experience - if you are a fresh graduate you will need to have stellar academics and strong communication skills.
    * Proficient user of Excel.
    * Ability to perform well under pressure.
    * Excellent communication skills.
    * Proven ability to display initiative and take things on with limited direction from others.



    What we'd like to see (bonus):

    * Experience maintaining accounting software, preferably a more bespoke tool such as SAP.
    * Experience working in the renewable energy industry or clear interest in building a career in a green business.



    Salary: £27,500-30,000 + 20% bonus + study support + BUPA + share options further down the line
