Senior Finance Assistant | Creative Agency | Central London

Harmonic are delighted to partner exclusively with a well-established Creative Agency supporting them with their search for a Senior Finance Assistant to join their Central London office. The business is going through a period of significant growth as they are increase their highly regarded client base and continue their award-winning work. This role offers a great opportunity to grow and develop transactional skills whilst receiving brilliant mentorship from an experienced Financial Controller.

You will be responsible for all things transactional, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping, as well as assisting the Financial Controller with ad hoc finance duties. The opportunity would best suit a confident individual with a strong work ethic, who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Full management of the accounts payable and receivable processes
• Processing and approving invoices
• Approving staff expenses
• Working closely with the Financial Controller and other team members to establish process to ensure financial efficiency
• Being the first point of contact for any finance queries
• Assisting with cash flow forecasts and budgeting
• Support the wider business with various ad hoc responsibilities

Essential Skills:

• 1-2 years' experience within a Finance Assistant / AP / AR position
• Finance related degree
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Team player with strong learning ambitions
• Excited by the Creative space

Bonus Skills:

• Experience using Xero
• Experience working in a Creative Agency

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Location: Soho, London
