Management Accountant | Fast Growth Interiors Business | Manchester

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a fast-growth furniture business in their search for a Management Accountant to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business who genuinely cares about its employees.

Reporting into an experienced Financial Controller, you will have full responsibility for month-end, management accounts as well as assisting the more junior members of the transactional finance team. This role would suit a confident and hard-working individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Despite being well-established within the industry, the business has retained a 'start-up' feel which encourages collaboration and creativity. The team are working from home at present, but this will be a hybrid home/office-based role post-covid.

Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for month-end
• Production of the monthly management accounts
• Supporting more junior members of the finance team with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assisting with payroll
• Working alongside the Financial Controller to produce financial accounts and assist with any ad hoc tasks

Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA part-qualified
• Strong management accounting experience
• Previous experience working in a product business (fashion, FMCG, furniture, retail etc)
• Proactive and confident approach
• Strong excel skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000

Start date: ASAP

Location: Manchester (with some work from home flexibility options)
