Management Accountant | Fast Growth Health Food Scale-Up| Central London / Hybrid

Harmonic are proud to be working alongside a scaling health food business on the hire of a newly created Management Accounting role.

Working alongside an experienced Head of Finance, this role will join a scaleup who are delivering around £3.5m in turnover with an ambitious 3-year plan to x3 growth to c.£10m turnover. Their products have brilliant distribution having launched into major supermarket chains like Asda, Sainsburys, Morrisons and Ocado with further plans to continuing growing their distribution through both retail and ecommerce outlets.

Currently finance is outsourced so alongside the Head of Finance, this position will work to bring finance inhouse as they start to build out more robust monthly reports and controls. Whilst this role will cover the monthly reporting piece it will also be structured so that can you get involved in the finance business partnering activities alongside the sales, marketing, and supply chain team.

The Role

• Oversee the production of the weekly and monthly management reports. Working alongside the Head of Finance to provide accurate management information for the senior leadership team.
• Analysis of the management account packs including commentary and variance analysis (budgets vs actuals)
• Posting journals and completing the balance sheet reconciliations
• Support with business partnering responsibilities across the wider team. This will include working with marketing, sales, ops/supply chain managers.
• Produce P&Ls for customer accounts (mainly large supermarket chains / ecommerce businesses)
• Support with the annual audit and queries from auditors
• Management of AP/AR (purchase and sales ledger)
• Ah hoq reporting and supporting in the build out of finance function

What our client would like to see:

• Part qualified or studying ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT
• Oversight of the full P&L within a business
• Commercially astute and desire to undertake business partnering tasks

What we would like to see:

• Experience in a product-based business would be beneficial i.e Ecommerce, Retail, Food, Beverages, FMCG, Consumer Goods, Cosmetics

Salary: £40,000 - 45,000 + study support + hybrid
