Temp-Perm Revenue Accountant - Marketing Agency - Central London

Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively alongside a reputable marketing agency in London, who are on the lookout to for a Revenue Accountant. The Finance Director is looking for immediate support following rapid growth and is subsequently looking for a 6 month interim Revenue Accountant who would be open to going to permanent.

Key Requirements

You must have a strong commercial and analytical background. You should enjoy operating behind the numbers, spending time away from your desk and work closely with other departments in the agency, using information to drive working capital of the business.

From a cultural perspective they're looking for a team member who'll be proactive, confident with a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• AR Credit Control - managing the collection of invoices and flagging to teams any outstanding balances
• Ensure billing plans are loaded into Mavenlink (project management system)
• Support with the weekly forecasting process by ensuring the client teams maintain key dates on their projects
• Month end reconciliation of billings between Mavenlink and Xero
• Reconcile POs received to SOWs to catch any SOWs that need invoicing or a PO
• Preparation of accrued and deferred income schedules
• Weekly/month end timesheet and utilisation reporting
• Identifying and driving potential process and system improvements
• Support Group FD with weekly ExCo KPI report
• Ad-hoc analysis

The person (ideally):

• Capable multi-tasker in a fast-paced change environment, able to prioritise workload and manage time effectively
• Group/US based business experience
• Job costing/project costing experience
• Natural relationship builder with business partnering skills
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Xero experience
• Competent Excel user

Package:

• £40,000 - £50,000 / day rate £250 - £300
