Immediate Start Interim Financial Controller | Outside IR35 | Luxury Retail Start-Up |6-month contract
Harmonic are delighted to be working with an award-winning and fast-growth luxury retail start-up, to find an Interim Financial Controller who is prepared to start immediately, on a 6-Month contract. This role sits Outside of IR35.
The Client
Our client was named in the Financial Times top 100 fastest growing companies in Europe and the company will read £30 million turnover within 6 years of existence, without outside investment. They are an upmarket, boutique Start-up who have worked with some of the world's largest brands. They tailor their product to meet their customers' needs and their customer relations is one of the many reasons they have been so successful.
Our clients are looking for an Interim Financial Controller/Head of Finance who is technically strong and has a high level of experience working within retail companies. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a successful Start-up at a crucial stage in its development.
The role comes with a lot of autonomy and responsibility, reporting to the CEO and COO with your recommendations for process improvement and use of data.
The Role
The business is looking for an Interim Financial Controller/Head of Finance who has experience leading or co-leading audits, ideally in an SME. They also require someone who is highly experienced with stock control and planning.
- Leading a successful audit
- Provide accurate budgets and cashflow forecasts
- Finance business partner with inventory and supply chain to ensure accurate stock control and planning
- Production of management accounts
- Supervision of finance assistant to ensure accurate credit control and accounts payable
- Support the CEO and COO with recommendations for process improvement and use of data
Essential skills
- Experience in a product-focussed business
- Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant
- Must have led or co-led a successful audit
- Have experience filing VAT return
- Direct experience of cashflow forecasting
- Direct experience of liaising with supply chain and sales to ensure effective stock management
Bonus Experience
- ERP system experience
Day Rate £475- £600 (outside IR35)
