Immediate Start | Head of Finance | Fast-Growth Beverage Brand | South London

Harmonic are proud to be working with a fast-growth beverage brand on a 3-month contract, Outside IR35. The role will work closely with the Founder of the business to deliver on the strategic and commercial plans over the contract duration.

Our client has scaled up to c4.5 million in turnover and are paving the way for growth with their innovative manufacturing processes and well as D2C (direct to consumer) approach to the drinks space. Only a few years into their journey they have grown to 30 people and this position will oversee a talented Finance Controller and transactional finance team (2 people).

The role would suit candidates who enjoy working in SMEs space as the culture is fast-paced and non-corporate. The team are incredibly proud of what's being built, and the work environment is creative and inclusive.

The role:

• Manage the day-to-day running of the finance team and ensuring that standards are met for the team (3 reports)
• Support the Founder and Board of Directors with strategic and commercial input. This role will oversee the finance planning and analysis piece as well as projects and initiatives for commercial success.
• Lead on FP&A
• Maintain high quality and standards with the finance controls piece. Ensure that processes are both robust as well as compliant to standards
• Ensure statutory requirements and tax requirements are met
• Support the Founder and Board with requests from investors
• Business partner with HR on management of their processes
• Collaborate with external partners for example finance institutions where necessary

What our client would like to see:

• ACA or ACCA or CIMA Qualified (would also consider QBE)
• Experience in a FMCG, Food, Beverage, Manufacturing, or any businesses which is 'product' based
• Managerial experience
• Passion and enthusiasm to work for an SME

What we would like to see:

• Experience with Power Bi or Excel would be advantageous
• Experience with private equity or venture capital

Start date: ASAP / must be able to interview this week

Pay: This contract is Outside IR35 and the pay is £350-400 per day. This is a full time, Monday-Friday contract

Location: Some scope for hybrid working but must be open to coming into their South London offices
