Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with an up-and-coming e-commerce fashion brand in their search for a Commercial Finance Manager to join their growing team. The role

The Commercial Finance Manager will work closely with the Finance Director, playing a key role in financial planning and analysis in shape the future of the business and maintain their exponential growth experienced in the first few years of trading. As the Commercial Finance Lead within the business, this presents an excellent opportunity to implement revolutionary processes and provide intelligent commercial analysis which will contribute to key business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Producing budgets and forecasts for senior leadership teams to influence commercial decision making
  • Supporting the Finance Director with long-term growth plans
  • Monitoring and analysing sales figures from multiple different revenue streams
  • Undertaking financial planning and analysis
  • Working closely with various other teams including buying/ merchandising to establish trends and therefore assess opportunities and risks
  • Business partnering with various departmental leads including the Head of Sales and Supply Chain Director to ensure accurate stock forecasting and planning for the coming months

Essential qualities

  • Previous experience in a product-based business (e.g FMCG, e-commerce, retail, fashion etc)
  • Strong commercial financial planning and analysis experience
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or fully qualified
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  • Passion for the fashion and retail space
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent Excel skills

Desirable qualities

  • Previous experience with scaling and/or fast-growth businesses
  • Experience using Xero

Salary: £55,000 to £60,000 + benefits

Location: Central London office with 1 day remote working
