Assistant Management Accountant + Study Support | Fast growth Hospitality Business | London / Hybrid
Harmonic are proud to be working on an exclusive basis with one of London's most exciting hospitality business on the hire of an Assistant Management Accountant to join a quickly expanding team.
Only a few years into their journey our client has the backing of a major FTSE investor and with it have been able to scaleup their operations. The role reports into a seasoned Finance Manager and has the benefit of coming with a mentored relationship to help you grow. There is also a full study support on offer for ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
Our client has seen turnover in the past 12 months go from c. £35 million to now being on track to deliver c.£50 million in the next 12 months and this role forms part of the finance function who work alongside the most prestigious clients kept by the business, turning over £2million respectively.
Based out of Holborn, our client is based in modern offices in a very vibrant part of town which is surrounded by nice restaurants and bars. Currently they come into the office on a hybrid basis so this role will offer some work from home (2 days per week). The culture of the team is non-corporate and creative, they are focused on growth but also regularly host socials and team event - which make it a fun and inclusive place to work!
The role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role will support with:
- Support the Finance Manager with analysing the data and important business reports. This includes analysis and insights in to the management accounts and month end piece.
- Support the senior finance team in reviewing budgets and forecast and looking into reporting information from clients, bids, and tender processes
- Preparing weekly Profit & Loss with variance analysis; working with the operational team on forecasting Month end position and then finalising corporate weekly Flash.
- Maintenance of the site's stock reconciliation with a focus on variance and spotting any potential anomalies or points for escalation
- Compiling and updating various client performance dashboards, head counts etc.
- Support the clients with submission of any invoices
- Processing manual supplier invoices and statements reconciliation, accruals.
What we need to see (Essential):
- Studying ACCA, CIMA, ACA or AAT
- Excellent Communicator
- Strong excel skills (V-lookups / Pivot tables / formatting)
- Willingness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck into the detail
What we would like to see :
- Industry experience i.e. Retail, Real Estate, Hospitality, leisure, construction
- Understanding of contract agreements / bids and tenders would be beneficial
Salary: £30,000 - 35,000 + study support + hybrid working
Start date: ASAP
