Interim Accounts Receivable Assistant (FTC) | High-Growth Property Tech Start-Up (VC Backed) | London / Remote

The Client

Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with an incredibly fast growth Property Technology start-up, backed by one the world's leading Venture Capital Funds (they have backed 3 well known Tech 'Unicorns' to date). With a global presence, a recent fundraise is driving consolidation in these markets as well as the delivery of a major expansion strategy into developing countries.

Having achieved 40% year-on-year growth they are looking to continue their expansion by moving to new markets with the recent set up of their APAC division. They are aiming to double their head count to 200 this year after increasing revenue by 50% (to $30m) last year!

The team consists of an experienced exec level and predominantly young, smart, ambitious people who are motivated by driving the business forward.

The role

Our client is searching for a driven and forward-thinking individual who is excited by the opportunity to be a part of an extremely high growth FinTech start-up and be a part of that earlier stage team, helping to construct the finance function.

The successful candidate will be working under the Finance Director and Financial Controller to ensure accuracy of transactions and preparation of data to drive strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Managing supplier, customer, and third-party vendor obligations
  • Processing of bank reports and regular cash reports
  • Weekly invoicing/BACS runs
  • Monitor aged receivables, contact clients, send payment reminders
  • Accounts payable/receivable status reports
  • Update internal databases and spreadsheets What we need to see
  • Provide operational support, coordinate with management, and recommend improvement in quality of accounting

Bonus skills

  • Passionate about Tech start-ups
  • Experience in a similar role e.g., Financial Assistant or Accounts Administrator
  • Part-qualified CIMA or ACCA
  • QuickBooks
  • Salesforce

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Start date: ASAP
