    The Client



    Harmonic Finance are proud to recruit, on an exclusive basis, for a fast-growing software start-up based in central London. They have raised circa £8m to drive their ambitious expansion plans and continued tech development. They are passionate about the potential of limitless computing power and are utilising the development of 'Big Data' to create a software with applications across multiple sectors including Financial Services and Pharmaceuticals.

    The Role



    As Finance Assistant you will be the second hire in Finance & Operations supporting the CFO. This is primarily focussed on supporting day-to-day Finance, but the CFO's remit also covers Legal, HR and Operations. This means there is extensive exposure to process improvement and projects in other areas of the business. Continuing the theme of a 'growth mindset' this provides the opportunity to learn plenty of new things and develop your commercial exposure.



    Key Responsibilities:

    Finance:

    * Manage day-to-day Finance (AP, AR, payroll, expenses)
    * Support the CFO with the monthly close
    * Support the production Management Accounts
    * Support with the production of FP&A
    * Liaise with stakeholders across the business
    * Continually review, improve and implement new processes

    Operations:

    * Identify and implement a new HR software to manage and track hiring trends
    * Support the CEO with ad-hoc operational projects
    * Work with the CFO to improve all back-office (operational) processes to facilitate future expansion



    Experience/ Traits:

    * Previous bookkeeping experience
    * Incredibly ambitious
    * Desire to constantly improve (both self and processes)
    * Passionate about Tech
    * Excited about working in a fast-paced start-up
    * Excellent Communicator



    Additional Experience

    * Knowledge of Xero (not essential)





    Salary: Up to £30,000 + study support + share options
